PSVAIR deadline fast approaching

As the PSVAIR compliance deadline approaches, rail replacement operators across the UK are under pressure to equip their vehicles with compliant audio-visual information systems by 31 July, 2026.

The StopStreamer offers a resolution to this challenge. It is a removable, cost-effective stop announcer that works intelligently on rail replacement vehicles.

Key design features

No mobile coverage needed

During the trip no wifi or mobile service is needed to continue the announcements.

Small footprint

Easily detachable with small fixings to move the StopStreamer from vehicle to vehicle.

Ready in 5 minutes

A route can be made in as little as 5 minutes for emergency rail replacement vehicles.

StopStreamer PSV and StopStreamer HUB

StopStreamer PSV

This is the original self-contained stop announcer with a passenger facing screen and audio. It is internet connected for receiving trip details as they are available. It is mounted using a VESA type mount (similar to a small TV).

We supply pole fixings and wall fixings and the device may be quickly transferred between vehicles by disconnecting from one mount and attaching to another. The StopStreamer PSV can integrate wirelessly with vehicle audio and is compatible with hearing loop systems.

StopStreamer HUB

This product is similar to the PSV version but connects to existing screen(s) via HDMI. The HUB is a self contained unit with its own screen so it can be set up in the office before placing it in the vehicle. The HUB can be hard-wired to audio systems and hearing loop amplifiers (as well as the wireless options as per PSV).

For vehicles without existing/accessible screens the HUB can use an LED matrix for the visual announcements but you may want to consider the PSV version.

Both devices are USB powered

Where there is no access to USB power both devices will run on internal batteries for several hours and a USB powerpack can be used to extend this.

Additional screens and audio

Additional screens and additional audio may be added to both devices.
